Does anyone know where I can find directions for...

I have been searching high and low and have run out of places to look. I am relatively new to origami, so I am hoping someone here can help me out.

I am looking for directions on how to make a crane (or it may be a swan) with a large, fanned tail that has a hollow center for placing a tealight or glass with votive candle.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

are you searching for a specific model that you saw somewhere, or do you just have an idea of how the model should be? I know about a crance-model that has enough space in its center to put a candle into, but I can't remember who designed it. maybe somebody else could help me out.

But it is dangerous to put candle inside origami model, isn't it? If you make such model from zinc plate, it will be OK.

How about a slightly modified Crane Hat? I've never folded this model myself, but I suppose there's a way to flatten the top part so that you can put a candle on it.

I found diagram for a container swan by Klaus-Dieter Ennen. By the name, I think the model is supposed to contain something. err.. right?
I haven't test-fold this myself.

I can try putting something together later in the week. It really just making the creases and molding the paper into shape (at least how i did it

). I'll put together at least a CP.

Alright-sorry for being so late with this. Here are the creases that I used to fold the crane light:

The upper right is obviously the tail and the lower left is the head. You will still need to make reverse folds for the neck and head after folding the pattern.
