Hello everybody,
I know it's becoming boring - but Peter Engel again...now at his "Alligator". Step 11 seems either to be a really hard one or I just don't get the point as something is missing...
The problem is that I don't know how to crease the underlying layer exactly. The two triangles which can be recognized in 12 won't ever come out at my model this way...
Does anybody have a good description or maybe even a photography of the procedure?
Thanks so far,
Bastian

Hi,
I've now tried to only use the existing creases - and the result is the following one:

So what did I do wrong there?

What you did with the part of the paper involved in step 11 looks fine for me. I think your mistake is from a previous step and thatis why the front of the model (the one involved in step 11) looks ok but not so the rest of the model.
My advice is unfold the model and make sure you do the previous steps correctly. I am suspicious of step 10.
