How do i do step 20 of the Earwig of John Montroll? i'm trying easier models but all of them have some kind of complication or step i kind understand

well, if you have really problems with a simple crimp-fold, you should fold something easier first.
but here's the step 20

thx chris, it's easier if i understand, sometimes i get lost in diagrams (don't even think about CPs yet :P)

On a request, I folded this just the other day.

The steps after this one, repeating on the other side, can also be a little tricky as the internal layers prevent you crimping the second side neatly.

What I did was crimp one side (As in the excellently clear video TheRealCris provided) and reverse fold out all the legg flaps on one side as instructed.

I then unfold the first side, and repeated the crimp and leg folds on the other side.

With the creases in place on both sides, I found it much easier to reassemble both sides, rather than trying to work with the first side still in situ.

For me, It also produces a neater & more accurate result.

Seems like i got to a dead end again, does someone who already do this knows what to do on step 38? i think its the head part

I didn't fold the legs completely... but that's the step 38:

The details of the legs are a bit bad, i think the paper isn't helping with my folding. sorry for bad quality of the photo, i only have my webcam

i should do the same, compared with yours, mine looks like maded by a kid.. i need thinner papers, normal paper can't do the work :P
