Ok, I lied. I found the v.4 skin, and I was like 2 rows away from finishing it before final sculpting. So, tomorrow probably, there will be a new pic!!

This my one))

Tracing paper+foil 1.2m-1.2m
Hex-pleated

Pre-creased fold time- 60 hours, fold - 45 hours, on days it took me about 1.5 months ((

most hardest model what i ever fold. This is my old design, but unfortunately, early I did not have the experience that would fold this guy ^)

The tessellation for the scales looks very impressive, but it kind of looks more like a platypus with scales.

The pre-crease and folding time is just insane..!

@Lephantome Anermak is one of our more talented folders and designers. He frequently has CPs beautifully folded and shaped while the rest of us are still trying to figure out which lines are mountain folds.

Again, beautiful model.

@Adam, any specific suggestions for how to shape the "platypus" into a more pangolin for ?

@Hank, Thanks for pointing out that my criticism should be more constructive. :)

Well, Pangolins don't have a uniform body width; the tail becomes narrower at the tip, for instance. The feet are also a lot thinner than the thighs. Furthermore, the mouth is generally really slim.

The model is technically very impressive, and if you'd alter the aforementioned points, it would definitely make an even better pangolin.

For all of you who got a copy of the Christmas book, what did you think of my Pangolin v.2?

Soo anybody try it? I just noticed I forgot to include the exact pattern for how to adjust the scale sizes in relation to the grid. Message me if you want them!!
