Help on frog on a lily pad

Can some body please provide me a photo instructions or explain the 2nd step in the frog on a lily pad by collin weber. Iam a newbie to origami and I cannot understand the 2nd step from his diagram.

First you have to be sure that you did the first step correctly. Do you know what a preliminary base is? That's what you have to do there.

2nd step tells you to bring the two corners of the front of your preliminary base to the top of the model, making the model 3D. It's simple really.
