Sorry but I'm a bit a beginner in orgami. I will really need the diagrams for something to fold. On the other side maybe if i'm a beginner it's not so smart to try the phoenix, right?Jonnycakes wrote:It is very possible to fold something with only the cp. There are no specific directions for the final detail folds, but the base can be folded without too much trouble. It won't be exactly the same thing, but with a cp you can get pretty darn close.

Yeah the phoenix is definitely not a beginning model-but there are plenty of other cool models with cps online if you look for them. If you are just starting to fold from cps, it would be a good idea to read Origami Design Secrets by Robert Lang-it contains a lot of good stuff about design methods and crease patterns.

try http://www.proxis.nl, that's where I got my copy of Origami design secrets
Amazon is shipping worldwide also to countries that do not have their own Amazon page like the Netherlands, Austria,...
If you type in http://amazon.nl you will be redirected to Amazon UK, so this is probably the next best solution, but you could also order from http://amazon.de if you prefer a german interface.

Hey I don't know if any of you have noticed but
on Kamiyas site you can vote for the model you
want diagramed most! And fortunately the Phoenix
has the most votes! (For those who can't speak Japanese
the top bar says phoenix 3.5)
