Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
So far i've been doing it for about 12 hours- about 6 to precrease and six to collapse whole bottom half...I'm kinda slow... I probably won't sleep tomorrow cause I will try to shape all the scales on the next weekend...

As you can see long way there... XD

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
Only twelve hours? Nice! I will have the grid done by today or early tomorrow. I have the entire weekend to work on it. So far for my project (Recyclable art) I have:
-A ton of the metal bottle tabs to make whatever with
-The Icarus
-Possible a really well wet-folded dwarf or mask? Not sure about this one
-The ryujin
What do you guys think? Have any ideas for models or things to make out of recyclable materials?

Not sure why you need to see the progress yet; as I said, all I have is the grid. But anyways, here they are:kareshi wrote:-Please- post some kind of picture soon. You're using up all the air in this thread.

Sorry, I don't know any other way to upload images from my phone other than tinypic.com
In a different thread (Since it isn't on topic) I can post the banana dwarf if anybody's interested.
Anyway, I am probably going to start precreasing.
Just got done with the tail pre-creasing.
Edit: I was told the grid was 96x 96, and so I made that grid. Now I come to find out it is 98x 98. Now, since I have so much of the bottom half already precreased, I am going to have to make two cuts on each side and glue a strip of paper in-between to make up for the messed up grid.
Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
you've counted wrongly then, the grid is indeed 96!

I thought so too, but here's the problem: You know the two big crane folds in the legs? Well they should be 24 lines apart, but on mine they're 23. I am almost certain I did everything right, Ideas?

Re:
I know. I don't know what I should do, because I already have the tail and the arms (Both) pre-creased. I suppose I just need to move everything over, but that really sucks because of all the extra creases. Is the Big /\ at the middle top seven creases down from the middle, and in the exact center vertically? that might be the problem.

Re:
Its fine, I will just have to figure it out myself, I just put a lot of time in today and don't even want to look at it anymore I spent so much time folding XD
