It's hard to see the scales from this point of view. Also, you should try wet folding or MC (To be honest I'm not sure if it'll work on Kraft, but you can try) to make the body a little more rounded. But other than that, it great! Much better than I could do

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
the head neck twist is confusing me. i have folded it on a small square like the diagram in the book but i need help applying it for real. is that extra part at the bottom of the paper on the diagram (lol) supposed to be the scales folded in half? so then the head would be to the left and the body would be to the right?

Looks to me like the Ryu-Zin is a little more about patience than skill (not saying it doesn't take skill, but you know)...
Too bad for me, I don't even have the patience to precrease the 96x96 grid, to hell with it.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
would 4 sheets of stiffened tissue paper and by stiffen i mean starch adhesive home made be good for this model 3.5?
Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
How big is it? Cause kamiya folded it from a 1x1m piece of paper

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
Kamiya folded his first Ryu Zin 3.5 from 2mx2m and the second one (that which pictures are in his book with cp) from 3mx3mSroge4 wrote:How big is it? Cause kamiya folded it from a 1x1m piece of paper

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
i decided to skip 2.1 and go straight into 3.5 because i tested the hardest parts and i can do them fine. one thing though, there used to be a cp on shuki katos flickr of the 3.5 tail shaped and it seems to have been deleted. in the comments though there was a more correct version of the cp with mv distinction. if anyone could repost either of those or send them to me i would be very grateful.
