yup thats right man i have already folded the models that i like except super complex ones.... One question..is the minatour hard?

It's not that hard... Shaping is harder than the actual folding. But that's just my opinion :)

I agree with langko, shaping is much harder than folding :)

hardest one IMO so far is the tree frog. The base is easy, but I still havent been able to get a desirable result :(

Hermit crab. Unless you use huge, super thin paper, it will have serious issues with splaying layers. Seems like tissue foil is the best option, but then the open sinks happen. Only a few people can get good results of this model, let alone from tissue foil(langko comes to mind).

he used origamido in the book, but it is rather expensive. 14$ a sheet to be exact.

Hmm... I don't think the tree frog is too bad, but your are right it's has an easy base with difficult shaping. I agree with Eamon, hardest model is the hermit crab. Some of the open sinks are a pain... I used 45cm tissue foil for mine, white one side, light brown on the other. I then coloured the white side with dark brown pencils to get the shells texture. I think double tissue with mc would work quite well too as I've seen a few people get great results from that

I managed the hermit crab with 30cm single unryu. the open sinks are pretty bad, but its easy other than that.
