Model Requests

Hello!
I am willing to take requests to design a model! If you want a specific model made, say like an animal of some sort, please tell me here. I will try and design the model for you and post a picture and crease pattern as soon as possible. I would like to make original models, not ones that there are thousands of models out there to fold. I will only select a few that I like, because time is limited. Depending on the difficulty, it could be anywhere from a day to two weeks. When you request something, please tell me if you want to have specific details like scales on it. These models will most likely be box pleated if they are complex so it is easier to follow and fold the CP.

P.S. -If you can't solve crease patterns, please say so. I may be able to help and post pictures or semi-diagrams.

Can you post a good picture of something? Anything? We don't know anything about what you do.

Can you try to design an Onychophora? Image

That'd be a lot of circle packing!

I am folding some models now. I am trying to get a decent amount of photo's together to put on flickr or something. I normally don't take pictures or keep my models, I distribute them to friends and family. I do keep my best though and I am putting together a gallery. Sorry about that!

That should be easy, I can just modify a centipede model. How many legs does it have? Do you want teeth? I think I saw that they have an odd mouth with a cool set of teeth.

Oh man that would take some work. I think I will pass for now; It's a pretty big request. It's not that it would be hard, but would take so much time to draw a cp and fold. I don't honestly think anybody would fold the cp, you would need to print it because of the lack of references and stray folds. Sorry man! Maybe a modified version wouldn't be so bad.

Any of these would be cool. I think the third one is the coolest, I think you could have a lot of fun with it. By the way, the third one is the same species as the second, but its a baby one. Unfortunately this is the only picture we have of it. I also think that Jeremy Shafer did the gulper eel, the fourth one. I am trying to imbed the picture, but if I can't, the first picture is the Chimera pup (the one I said was the coolest), and the second link is all of the sea creatures. Hope this works, and hope you have fun.

Darn, it didn't imbed the picture, oh well. I would just use the second link. BTW, I am a CP fail, so yeah...

Yeah, but the teeth are tiny. The interesting thing is that they have these tiny claws on their legs, and the claws flip down when they take a step.

I was just looking at pictures of some of those the other day! I think I might fold on of them, they all are cool. Especially the first image, the long nose chimaera. I do have a problem though. In that picture, the nose is flat, but I think when they are in water the shape is different. Can you find a picture of one in water or one of the nose?

I cant find any good pictures of the teeth or claws.

These pictures may help with the Onychophora. Sorry I can't just imbed the pictures in, I just can't figure it out. Anyway, the first group of pictures may help, they are very detailed drawings. I think they might be the creepiest things I've ever seen, looks like they shoot web, but probably not.

Another thing that could be fun would be a water bear (they are also called tardigades). Thay are microscopic things that are epic! They were exposed to the vacuum of space and survived. Anyway they are fat little things with eight legs and weird mouths and 2 little claws on each foot. Just search "water bear" and you'll find an almost endless amount of pictures. Here's one anyway. Hope it embeds :)

I love these guys! I've seen both them and Onychophora in real life, cause my friend's mom is an invertebrate scientist, and Tardigrades are a lot cuter than this. The claws on the Onychophora are basically little arms with two spikes at the end that are folded up against the legs.
