I have the 12 fold flower tower with overlapping petals figured out. This one: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Rk1jsKh7kDc/T ... +Tower.jpg

I am stuck on the 8 fold version that looks like this:

I keep ending up with one that looks like this: http://s33.photobucket.com/user/UNICRON ... 9.jpg.html

I have tried starting from a square and an octagon but can't seem to figure out the base. Any help would be much appreciated. I have ordered Plamer's book and cd Flower Collection 1, but am hoping I don't have to wait till it gets here to figure it out. Please help me out if you can. Thanks.

What do you mean? Where are you coming from? Are you trying to reverse engineer it or are you following the CP?

The Flower tower you want to fold is a completely different version that uses lots of petal folds / bird bases whose big flaps have to be sunk in to the centre.

I guess I'm trying to reverse engineer it. I would rather learn the process, using references, than fold from the CP. Are any of the steps similar to the 12 point version with the overlapping petals. A video of this would be very helpful.

It's not gonna happen. Chris Palmer doesn't want people spreading his models just like that.

Chris Palmer sells CDs with Crease Patterns and videos for his models. You might be interested to check them out: http://www.shadowfolds.com/
