Dear all,
I recently finished the diagrams for my Collie, and now I need people to test them! Any volunteers to test the diagrams and find mistakes would be very much appreciated. If you are interested please reply below and I will PM you a link to the diagrams.

Hi, I would like to test your design, it doesn't look like it's going to take a long time, so it wouldn't disturb me from continuing to solve cps of other designs. By the way, happy new year!

I made it! I think that it's a very good design. The part where I got difficulties with was the collie's muzzle, but everything else was okay. The diagrams are detailed and I don't think that there are any mistakes. The only thing that I was disappointed with was its tail because it's a bit too long. But overall, it's very good! I enjoyed folding it and I think that you designed it quite well.

Thanks Augustus! I agree, the tail is a bit long, but it can be easily fixed with a crimp or two.
What part of the muzzle did you have difficulty with? How could I improve that part of the diagram to make it easier to follow?

I took about 10 minutes struggling to fold that part because my paper was too small. (I didn't have any paper left so I had to use a very small one.) But if I used a bigger one, I wouldn't have had any difficulties with it. Anyway, sorry for not being very precise for where I got difficulties with in the last post. You don't need to change your design.

Hello,
I have tested it:
http://www.pliagedepapier.com/gallery/d ... ?pid=18774
Possible mistakes:
- No name of the model, the designer. No date (design, diagram). No paper type (ex. kami etc) or size. No level (intermediate I think). No ratio (2/3 for your collie).
- No "step 1" ; "step 2" etc... or "way" to follow the diagram. I think it is important.
- Step 1: valley or mountain folds are not indicated. The vertical diagonal valley fold continue after the square, at the bottom.
- Step 5: the 2 arrows are maybe too high. It would be better if they went from the middles to the center of the square.
- Step 7: arrows ' heads are too big, (I wondered "what is it?")
- Steps 7 to 8 : no "turn over" arrow.
- Step 10 then 11: name of the folds ? 11: it is a bit strange to have a lot of precreases and not for this step.
- Steps 10 to 11: the bottom of the square disappear but there is no fold.
- Step 12: there is no valley fold to fold in half the model. No arrows as at step 10
- Step 14: Maybe you can write: valley fold for all the top layer.
- For all the diagram : lots of people often read the instructions under the picture, you should write "repeat behind, fold and the fold".
- Step 15: Name of the fold?
- Steps 18 and 24 are not easy, I failed step 24.
- Step 19: maybe you can precise the layer to fold
- Step 34: name of the fold?
- Step 35: maybe you can add the circle at the corner.
It is a wonderful model! Pretty well diagramed! It was a pleasure to fold it.
I hope it will help you.
Fox
PS: sorry for my bad English.

I agree with Fox, I think that I struggled finding which step was which.
