Do you know what type of paper he's using on his dragons Daydreamer? I really like the way it looks.

I use a paper type " Craft " the one of wrapping packages and one can make 10x140 but the problem I have it among the steps 13-17 if you look at the step 24 the sides of the dragon they are one it lines straight line and to my I have left it with steps. I will continue attempting it

It looks like some sort of foil paper, maybe tissue foil.

Thanks for the link,
never seen this guy's work before- like the look of his models, some very interesting stuff.
How about the classification- does the dragon come under "why even try/ hyper mega complex" :)

First I'm making the bat, second I may try the bobsleigh guy!
If they come out any good I'll post the results

Bit of a pain having the diagrams only as html though- will try and grab the models.

Hi all i am Mauro Pucci ;)

The paper i used is very thin paper in Italy it is called (Velina), in english i suppose it is foil paper attched on cooking paper (metal paper, DOMOPAk for example) with spry glue.

It is very important cooking paper is thin and not EXTRA STRONG AND RESISTANT ;)

The diagrams of the winged dragons on my site are not the last version. I make a new version of dragon with better wings but for now i still not updated diagrams. Maybe in future when i will have time ;)

Good folds to all

Mauro,

I like your website. Will probably try your Fenice (Phoenix) when I form the courage (and a good piece of tissue foil.)

The diagram says to add paper whenever needed. How can you properly add it to the rest of the model without it falling apart?
