Acrocanthosaurus

Yeah, very wierd name. Anyway, I need help on this model, step 41. I don't know how to do this without the horizontal section going out of position. By the way, I don't know how to post links, so you can find this model at origami.com, search for this in the complex section. And, if it's not too much to ask, can you tell me how to post links?

For the step 41 you will need to open the model quite a bit to perform it cleanly. Also since some new creases will be introduced you should precrease the long horizontal flap along the edge of this triangle thing. With this all the creases you need should be there and you just need to collapse it using these creases.

i am stuck on another step of this model, step 49. it says to unwrap a single layer of paper, and i can't seem to get it right. (unwrapping layers is my worst quality.) can somebody help me out with this?

I performed this step a bit differently. After you have made steps 47 and 48 unfold again to 47. And then perform a symmetrical crimp along the two creases made. You will obtain exactly the same result that way, since as is said in the diagrams this step makes the model symmetric again.

maarten_smit: avoid double-posting (moderators don't like it at all) by using the "edit" button ^^''! Just a friendly advice from a newbie, ok :D?
