Hello !
I just finished this model from "Origami for the connoisseur".
It is said there is a way to reduce the numbers of holes from 4 to 1.
Does anyone know this method ?
Thanks.

Diagrams for the one-hole version are in the book Origami El Mundo Nuevo by Kunihiko Kasahara.

But it has a completely different folding sequence, so it shouldn't really be called a "way to reduce the number of holes". Also the model still has 4 holes, with the difference that they are better closed and you open out one of the holes in the end.

I have just finished to fold the spiral snail shell from "origami for the connoiseur" book, but it didn't look quiet like photograph.
It is because of the one hole version?
Is it possible to get the diagrams in the internet?
thanks,

paulo

Yes, the problem is that the photo in "Origami for the Connoisseur" is actually for the One-hole-version and not for the model you have the diagrams for.

There are no diagrams for the one-hole-version available on the internet.

I don't have those diagrams, but I have made this model.

Just undo the squash you did (I don't know which step), You want to make the squashed square stand up.

It should be something like the top of a bird base.

I think that is correct anyways.... Just try and undo the squashed portion.
