Standard rose

Hi there!
I have a problem folding a standard origami rose ... now I get to the point where I have to fold one quadrant with the other and I can't figure it out
so if anybody has any diagrams (please not from bloom4ever) or videos please tell me about it or send it to me.

thanx! but that's not what i need, i need diagrams for standard origami rose not kawasaki rose,thanx anyway!

Could you please be a little more precise, what rose exactly do you mean, where are the diagrams to be found? Most "standard" roses out there are just some variations on the "old" Kawasaki-Rose. Videos for some of these variations can be found on YouTube, and many many more informations can be found on this Forum by reading through the topics the Origami Roses FAQ links to.

Rose with Stem is quite close to what you're looking for. Of course, if you don't want the stem, you'd have to figure out how to make the bottom

Posting of (YouTube-) videos works very good on this Forum, you just have to delete everything before <embed> and after </embed>

The quadrant step really is not complicated. all you are doing is pulling one flap of paper over to the right and align the edges of the tops of the flaps then crease the paper that is underneath. The flaps won't align perfectly the one you pull over will be shorter but as long as you can get a small portion of it straight at the top it's good. You are doing this to all four flaps. Skip ahead to step 27 on the bloom tutorial to see the result of the 4 valley creases Then following the creaseswrap the flaps around the middle into a cylinder.
