The origami Ferris Wheel is the combintaion of many "elbows". Each elbow is folded from a rectangle - the larger ones are 8" by 8". An elbow is a folded into a square tube that is bent at some place. It has a diagonal in the middle to give it extra strength. An ebow is actually strongewr than a straight tube ("Stick")
There are inside elbows (the diagonal opening is on the inside of the bend) and outside elbows and twisted elbows (more than one bend).
