The cover of Engel's book is obviously a nod to the famous M C Escher print, but looking at it for a minute, it seems pretty clear that it's not actually a photo of a folded model; it's impossible to make a single sheet look exactly like that. I know Jeremy Shafer's book has a few similar models, a preliminary base and a blintz base with hands sticking out, but does anyone know if there are diagrammed models of something similar that's a bit more realistic?

Thanks

Also, this is pretty amazing.

Jeremy Shafer created this, but there's no CP.

I love your handle - Reqiuem For a Dream is in my top 3 movies.

ostranenie: There is no CP because the picture itself is like a CP :D
Eric Joisel has folded a couple things similar:

Well, I guess I probably will someday. After all, I also really like the surfer on a wave and the nail clippers.
