to make things easier for everybody willing t help you and to obtain better response to your questions, name your threads with somethign more descriptive than just "please help". One good title for yours would be "kusudama lotus help" or somethign like that.
Now the answer to your question is right there at the diagrams:
"Open out the model slightly, unfold the paper at the top corner, crease the four sides of the inner square into mountain folds. Push down on the middle of the square and collapse the sides toward the middle, thereby completing the sink."
The purpose of most sinks (if not all) is to make a part of the paper "dissapear". So what the instruction is telling you to do by sinking that tip is to fold it inwards so that it is not seen. Follow the instructions above and you should be fine.
