Help on flying heart

Hello again... I'm having a bit of trouble on step 9. I've got the precreased, sunken-at-the-top preliminary base, but I don't know what's happening here. I tried doing a rectangular petal-like fold, as in the picture I put in, but that didn't work. I tried mountain-folding the side bits behind the top layer, but that didn't work. Sorry to disrupt, but can anyone please help?
