It's been decided? Do you know what it is? I hope to actually contribute next convention year. Anyway I really like the hummingbird remake.

Yes, I was aware of Lang's current exhibition and his very large installment of the Pteranadon. But what is the 2008 OUSA Design
challenge?

I'm not sure that we're allowed to spread the challenge around yet.
Here, I'll give this hint:
It's not a monkey.

Although it could be a monkey. Just not one you'd find in a zoo.
I know what the challenge is, but I'll wait for the official announcement. I had a chat with Dr Lang today, and I'm not sure he'd like me pre-empting him.
PS: If you can't spell a term, please don't type rubbish. There are hundreds of spell-checkers out there, and the term 'Pteranodon' is the same is every language.

the subject of The 2008 Origami Design Challenge is: Prehistoric Non-Dinosaur

Awesome! I've been reading a really interesting book about how dinosaurs evolved and discovered some pretty interesting pre-dinosaur animals.
But I'd make an archelon, a prehistoric sea turtle that was almost 4m long and 2000kg!
