Change proportions

Does anybody try to change the proportions? I have fold 12 parts instead of 11 in the horizontal grill, and change the size of the vertical grills. The result is not so good as the original.

I can imagine Mr Lang folding dozens of roses to find the correct proportions. If you want less and bigger petals, you need to make less vertical parts. etc....

If you use 12 parts instead of 11 its much easier to fold. Try and tell us.

yes sometimes I will experiment with changing proportions. Like one time I simplified the kamiya Caribu to have smaller antlers and a bigger body. I also excluded the detail of the antlers.
