Is there any video telling you how to make this awesome origami?

I have tried the pdf file, but once i get to the middle, something always goes wrong!

Hello, I want to make the 3 headed dragon but always get stuck on the middle, anyone know where I can find a Video on this, or someone please please make one!

I've done it a couple of times, maybe I can be of some help. Anyway, is a long diagram for a video, any idea what step is troubling you?

Erm, that's John Montroll's 3 headed dragon, from his Zodiac book.

It shouldn't be downloadable as a .pdf, AFAIK.

If you've obtained the pdf from someone who has illegally scanned the book, then step 76 should read:

Turn yourself into the police for breach of copyright and theft. Pay enormous fine. Have your computer confiscated by police. Have police claim you are a terrorist due to the fact you once googled 'anarchists cookbook'. Spend rest of life in orange jumpsuit.

If the pdf was on an official OUSA DVD that I don't yet know about, then I'm sure we can help.

I believe there are two different three-head dragons by José Aníbal Voyer. One with wings and one without. Which is it? It may aid others in helping you.

I am making the one without wings.
Which one is easier?

Where can you find it?

The one without wings is reverse folds. Precrease and reverse fold. You can skip this and just filp a flap over and petal fold though.

my flap seems to be stuck??

That's a simple squash fold. Just grab one layer of paper and bring it upwards, then flatten everything and it should look like in step 29.

never mind, i now figured that i single pleated step 20, where i should have double pleated inside

basically, all three headed dragons that i have seen thus far in origami use the same base, though the end result is quite different. this includes all the ghidorahs (the golden three headed dragon of godzilla fame). that amounts to quite a few three headed dragons (5+). well, from one piece of paper anyway. this is logical, since almost all of them pull the three heads from three corners and the tail from the fourth.

that being said, i haven't seen a good pic of gilgado's three headed dragon, and it seems now that book is out of print. any takers?

and i do believe that the diagrams to one of voyer's three headed dragons is available for free on barber's website.

which one? the one pictured above? the diagrams are in montroll's book, "mythological creatures and the chinese zodiac in origami."
