Help with origami snail Jozsef Zsebe

Hi! I need some help with an origami snail, signed by Jozsef Zsebe. I can't manage to give the shell the ideal form. Any advice? Thanks a lot

Yes, the step looks funny. I would try to fold the model with tissue foil.

Yeah, I already have the folding instructions but I need help because I can't give the shell the correct form when doing the spiral.

It helps to have a link to the instructions when you are trying to help someone. There are lots of kind of half-crimps to form the shell. I would precrease the shell crimps before actually doing them. Once you understand how the paper moves into position, it is a matter of trying until you get it.
