Good human bases?

Are there any good origami human bases? I'm feeling kind of random, and want to try and fold a few people of my (unlikely) design, and try and post a photo of them on this site.

There are several good human bases. Maybe you were asking about easy human bases. I don't know. Can you fold from CP's? Because if you do, I can recommend two by Hojyo Takashi check http://www.geocities.co.jp/HeartLand-Oa ... tu.html#p1 and http://www.geocities.co.jp/HeartLand-Oa ... ku.html#p1

Both models have their axle at the vertical half of the square.
 Fold alternating mountain and valley pairs on the creases that radiate from the center point of the paper

Okay, I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Those bases by Hojyo Takashi are excellent.
Another base I'd really reccomend is the base for Sipho Mabona's Fauno (Pan).
For shorter models, Eric Joisel's dwarf is fun.

Don't discount Albertino's man base in Origamania available as a free download from Nicolas Terry's site http://www.passionorigami.com

I think frog base is good for 4 limbs. You can use the centre of the base to make head.

You know, I've never thought of that. It does look like a human base! Thanks! :D :D

Where would I look to get to the crease pattern on this site?

Go to the shop/boutique. Find the book Origamania, by Lionel Albertino. It's a free download.

Also, Nguyen Hung Cuong has a nice box-pleated human base:

(Found on the Vietnam Origami forum, http://www.vietnamorigami.org )

Finally, if you add strip grafts to a frog base you get a nice human base, with fingers.

Do you mean a new model of a human figure, or made one of the suggestions posted above?
