Hi I am from Germany and tried yesterday a kusudama. I like to make a cactus:

And found a video. Everything worked till 3:56 but then ...

Could anybody describe the last step perhaps with a drawn and scanned picture? Or are there other, better discriptions for this step?

Last question (not as necessary as the first) is, have you any ideas to fold the blooms? Thx and Greets from Germany

What you have to do is refolding on the previous made creases. They should be all in place and in the right direction, the only difference is that they are now "inside" the paper instead of "outside".

What you have to do is step 6 and 7 again but this time inside the model, its really that easy. Valley fold the sides to the middle on existing creases and fold the top down on existing creases.

I uploaded 3 pics.
I am shure that I have nearly done it right, but the last 1% ist missing ;)
If anybody knew what is wrong just paint in it and upload it please.

I have made a little video on what to do after step 7 of the diagrams since I think that your troubles begin there.

For the future I recommend you to upload pictures to http://www.imageshack.us/. It's easy and self explanatory. Copy and paste the "direct link to file" to your message and write an after the link to make the picture visible on the Forum itself.

By the way, the flowers of the cactus are just two of these modules that are tucked into each other where you skip the last step of valley folding the tips downwards.

Thx
Now it worked
the mistake was, that the two sides have not touched each other.
So it was not possible to fold the side ;)
Big Thx AgaiN!!!!
