i'm having problems with step 6 [maybe i'm making it more difficult than it is] cause isn't it just valley folding up on the diagram before step 5 [why would i need step 5 at all?]?
and how exactly do i pleat fold on step 8?
woah. so many questions ^^'

Step six: This might be hard to explain, but sink the triangle made by the petal fold into the model.

Step eight: Valley fold the flap so it aligns withdaimond in the middle and fold it back so it aligns with the center.

In step five, look at the horizontal crease (a valley fold) and the two diagonal mountain folds that form a triangle. Step six says to unfold step five and then refolding, but switching the horizontal crease to a mountain fold and the diagonal creases to valley folds. I hope that helps.

thankies that helps, but what about step 8? how do you pleat it when it's like that?

On each side of the model, do the valley fold of the pleat first. It should line up with the valley fold in step 7. Then the mountain fold should line up with the vertical center of the model.
