Hi all - new here.

Hope someone can help. A double reverse fold (actually, two - one double reverse then another...) is foxing me. These folds are forming the neck and head of a Lang collie, and I just can't quite get it sorted properly. The diagram is from Origami Zoo by Lang and Weiss.

Cheers, everyone!

I found that a little tricky on my first attemp too.
From memory, and without the book here today, it goes something like this...
Open out the paper so that you can see the sort of "W" shape and push the whole area in at once.
Don't think of it as two reverse folds, just one operation.
It will go quite easily once you think of it like that.
I'll bring the book in tomorrow if you haven't gotten better help by then.

OK, I have the book today.
I assume you are talking about steps 12 & 13.
In step 12, pre crease the mountain fold shown on the right hand side - it bisects the angle between the right edge and the slightly less than horizontal crease line shown.
Open out the area gently, and look at it from the point of view indicated.
In step 13 look at the "W" pattern formed by mountain folds in the lower part of the diagram.
Make sure all your creases in that "W" are mountains, and the two long valleys will naturally fall in as you push them in, all at one go.
I hope this helps, sorry I have no camera to take & post photos.

wow!!!
