I tried folding this spider from the CP as it seems to be rather straightforward boxpleating (I'm a newbie at CPs though, so if you guys believe this one is too complex I am also interested in learning about simpler boxpleating CPs).
I managed to basically fold the spider, but essentially just punched the central part together by force (as a result the legs are much too short). I can see how the 4 corners are collapsed. Also that there is a central line that is 2/32ths wide and in the base the top 2 corners and bottom 2 corners go underneath that line. But what happens in the central area, respectively the parts between the two left and two right corners?
I tried understanding it from naabox' pictures, but I get lost between pictures 5 and 6.
Also: am I correct that the points at the center of the top and bottom make the two hind legs?
Thanks for any explanation that might make things clearer
