Hi, its my first post here as I have just joined. I have being doing origami for just over a year now but haven't really made anything thats very detailed. I was woundering if a user would post a link to a diagram or a crease pattern to make something that would impress my parents and friends and help me through it. I have never managed to do a crease pattern before but would like to know how to solve them as most amazing origami creations only give out their CP. I would be more than greatful if someone would help me and thank you in advance.

Thanks people, I'll have a proper look when i come back from school, i have recently purchased Robert Langs Origami Design Secrets which is pretty good, although his better work is on his website.

While ODS has some nice models, its main purpose by far is to educate people about design methods.

I guess, but i only really brought the book for the origami koi. Sadly, being the last year at school, i have hardly any time left with the homework and coursework, so it may take some time before i finish the dragon in flight.

If you're a beginner, I don't think you want to touch any of the crease patterns on Robert's website for a very long time. The coloured lines are confusing and disorienting. One time I went blind after looking at one for too long and I had to walk around with a cane for two weeks.

If you don't like the coloured lines on the CPs, print them out black and white or greyscale, that sure helps.

Thanks for the advice, as soon as i've finished the dragon in flight i'll have ago at one of Langs crease patterns. Just wondering how long would it take to solve one normaly?
