At time=18 seconds, there is a paper frog that jumps by itself.

Is this just TV magic, or does anyone know of a trigger mechanism like this? I don't recognize the model.

If you pause it at 19 seconds, you'll see it's just a plain ordinary jumping frog. The guy did the usual motion to make the frog jump, and then it appears they cut out his hand and show him walking away.




Off-topic: This show looks like a copy of Psych.

It's obviously just some kind of camera trick. Unless they decide that it's more convenient to install some kind of an elaborate electronic jumping mechanism inside it, in which case they must be morons.

Thanks... I was hoping it was a clever spring mechanism, like some of the things posted, or like Momotoni's Trick Origami.

Ah well, sometimes naivety and innocence are their own reward
