Jeremy Shafer - Knife/Mr. Smiley/Musical Notes/Blintz Base

I need some help from some people who have folded from Origami To Astonish And Amuse by Jeremy Shafer. I am having trouble folding the knife from step 9-14. And I also need help on step 29 for Mr. Smiley, steps 25-26 on Musical Notes, and steps 15-25 on Folding the Blints Base. Video Helps is greatly appreciated, and detailed pictures are also greatly appreciated. Thanks for you kindness.

Read the explaining text underneath each picture. It really helps

For the knife, the diagrams state very clearly that it WON'T BE FLAT during these steps. as long as you don't try to squish it flat, and follow the directions VERY closely, you should have no problems. I folded that model about a year ago, there weren't any errors in the diagrams

Steps 25 and 26 on the musical notes are just reverse-folds. If you don't know how to do those, you should go back and fold some of the easier models first. Reverse-folds are explained in the basics section, pages 23-29.

For folding the blintz base: the steps you listed are all swivel folds. Like reverse-folds, you can find out how to do them on pages 23-29 of that book.

Step 29 is a closed sink... but unfortunately, Jeremy Shafer doesn't ever explain how to do a closed sink. That's where we can help a little, maybe... the second half of this video should explain it well enough:

Erph... A little confusing, but I can hack it. I folded the notes for the first time and I haven't re-attempted the knife because I've beel caught up in Philip Chapman-Bell's (oschene) tato boxes and other projects. Might try again today, though..... Anyway thanks for the video!!!!!
