I've tied so hard, and got so far, but in the end, I FAILED!!!!! Hahahaha. Sorry for an odd intro but I really need video help on steps 27-32 of Marc Kirschenbaum's matchbox.

I know you asked for video, and if someone else helps, great.... Until then:
I think that the original matchbox was designed for a rectangle, and Marc took the exercise to re-design it for a square.

27 - 29: "Accordian sinks" on both sides - Note that you are doing a mountain fold (both back and front) on the crease from Step 18, so that you get a reverse fold, partial closed sink, that tucks inside the "kite flap" and under the flap on the top.

Unfortunately, the diagram isn't shaded, so it is difficult to see that the indicated point in Step 28, is the result of the reverse fold. And in Step 28, you do it again in the other direction.

In Step 29, the flap sticking out is in the middle of the layers, and you reverse fold it one more time to hide everything. Then repeat the 3 steps on the left.

Step 30 is straightforward, But I haven't folded this version, so I'm not positive where the flap from the center layer is (?) for Steps 31-32. I think it may come from the reverse fold from Step 28.

Good Suggestion for a matchbox, but I don't think it will help with Kirschenbaum's matchbox and folding sequence.

Actually right after I posted this I remebered watching Sara Adams' sink video and finally completed the model. Kind of sketchy looking in the end but I can improve. A really cool suggestion for a model for anyone to learn for a X-Mas tree ornament is the Jackstone and Omega Star(Video instructions found on youtube) and the Spiky Ball on flickr.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/brdparker/ ... 945974189/
The omega star takes 6 pieces, the Jackstone takes 1, and the spike ball takes 15.
