Stephen O'Hanlon - Daffodil

Post by Malaena »

I'm having great difficulty deciphering what to do on step 4 in the diagram at http://www.fishgoth.com/origami/diagram ... ffodil.pdf. The rabbit eat fold that is called for seems to be impossible to do on this crimped fold, I absolutely cannot figure it out! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

be sure to really crimp INSIDE OUT on step 3. that means to make two REVERSE FOLDS.
if you just crimp the flaps, the top flap will be locked, if you crimp it inside out the flap will be free for the rabbit ear.

Thanks for the tip, but I think I'll just have to forget about completing this particular daffodil! The rabbit ears end up looking nothing like the next step! I'm not even sure I've done the crimping right, but I've found another daffodil diagram that is much less confusing. Thanks again!
