Miyamoto Shintaro - The North Wind

Hi, I recently got a few of the past Tanteidan Convention books, and I started folding a few things. In Tanteidan 9, I encountered the model"The North Wind" (Suicune), by Miyamoto Shintaro. I'm having trouble with steps 38-45, particularly 44 because I cannot figure out how to collapse it. Can someone please help?

I don't have the book. Does the model look anything like this?

I'm sorry, I can't offer any help, but when you said Suicune, I thought of the pokemon.

I have had a look at the diagrams, and all you have to do for step 44 is make sure all the creases are correct (valley or mountain), an gently bring all the points together.

Yeah, its that suicune
And I tried that but the main problem is that for some of the rabbit-ear-esque folds there isn't a fourth fold line to show where it ends up.
