I am having a very hard time with the step ten of this diagram, or at least, I am pretty sure this is the step I'm messing up. When I get to step 13 I thought it looked right but on step 15 the folds that will become the back engines aren't falling correctly at all.

What I've done on step ten is a simple reverse fold of the upper layer triangle fold there so that it sits between the top two layers, one edge ends up along the centre crease.

I'm looking at the step again now and the done picture has an edge along the outside edge of the top two layers, but for the life of me I can't figure out exactly what the step is asking for me to do.

If anybody has made this before or sees how I'm misinterpreting the pattern, I'd be so thankful, I'm hoping to give this away as a gift if I can get it to turn out (or rather I'll make a second one after I get the 'test' one working)

Thanks again.

Where can diagrams for the model be found?

Silly me.

Through Joseph Wu's site or at http://www.josephwu.com/Files/PDF/xwing.pdf

I had the same problem you did at step 10, so I skipped it, and when I got to step 15, I squashed the point it told you to reverse fold. I took the triangle, spread the edges out, opened out the middle layer, and squashed it into a rectangle shape. It ended up looking really close to step 15, and I dont think the differences will affect the rest of the model.
