Could you please specify what cp it is?

It is difficult to be able to help without exactly knowing where you are having trouble, but I am going to assume that you are stuck at the beginning.

Start by printing the CP as large as you can. Then do all the creases.

The direction of the creases is indicated, solid are mountains and lighter creases are valleys. The parts of the CP are identified as to what they end up being in the finished model.

Anything else?

I presume the CP is: Maekawa's E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial - Origami for the Connoiseur by Kunihiko Kasahara & Toshie Takahama

Wow! I was just folding this last night having dusted the book off again.

From memory, I divided into fifths and then all of the reference points seemed findable.

I am rubbish at CP's but I did manage to fold this after 4 hours of mudddling.

For others wanting to try it. This CP is not listed in the diagrams, it's just a CP printed in the section about iso-area folding.

If no one else can help in the meantime, I'll bring my copy in tomorrow and see if I can be of assistance

InsomniacFolder, there's no division into fifths, as far as I can see...

Glad you finished it, karlshmelton! Welcome to the wide world of CP folding...
