I have folded a lot of more difficult diagrammed models but I am finding it difficult to follow steps 77-83 of Manuel Sirgo's Hippogriff (Origami Tanteidan Convention 14) particularly step 82 because his diagrams and terminologies don't follow what I think is standard, forgive me if I'm wrong. I have tried interpreting and folding it the best way I could but it just won't turn out the way it should on the diagrams. To people who have folded it before, please help. Thanks much. ^__^

It's just a spread squash. At this point you're forming the crest of the hippogriff. It doesn't need to be perfect.
