Camel - Nicolas Henriquez p.168 Tanteidan 15

Has anyone tried this model yet? I can't work out what's happening between folds 39 and 40. Fold 39 looks like a simple wrap but although all the crease lines remain aligned between the two folds, the downward pointing central flap on top seems to be a lot shorter at fold 40. I don't speak Spanish so perhaps someone would be kind enough to translate "Cambiar capa, notarque al hacer esto el modelo comienza a levantarse". Thanks in advance for any help.

It is, just like step 37. The two flaps will be too wide and the model will not lie flat at that point. Step 4 is drawn do that you can see that that top layer isn't flat (note the change in angle of the tip.)
