This is my first post and its a request for help.
I am folding Guspath Go's hippogriff from the diagram's here:-
http://design.origami.free.fr/bestof/go ... ogriff.pdf
I have completed up to step 14 for all 4 flaps but can not for the life of me work out how to do step 15 for each of the 4 flaps.
If anyone can help I would be grateful (great site by the way)
Thanks in advance.

hello, MancRB,
The step 14 can be simplified by dividing it into two steps :
first perform a squash fold on the flap,
and then just reverse fold the sides of the square you have just made, to get step 15 (if you prefer, you fold a bird base from the square you've just made by squashing the flap, and then you valley fold it back down. In both cases you get step 15)
I hope my explainations are clear enough.
If they are not, I've founded some pictures one a french forum, here :

here are the pictures of the step 14 :

Thank you! What the pictures show is that I have folded the previous steps incorrectly. I need to go back a bit and see what I have got wrong.

Thanks for posting the pictures for step 14; they look very helpful! Though, I am stuck on Step 12 & 13. Can anyone help me?
Fold on!

For the transition of 12-13, you have to pull the flap that you just squashed in step 10 out from underneath itself (you have to open up the model a little bit) and pull it gently out until it looks like step 13. Then you precrease (you should already have most of those fold lines if you had done the previous step correctly) according to the steps and then proceed with step 14.
Hope I helped!

My paper is getting really thick now and I was using kami. How do I do the wing part in step 35?
Thanks in advance.

There should be a little bit of paper inside that you just have to pull out. It's just for making the wings longer. There is a youtube tutorial on the whole model. I was able to make it easily with just the video. Link:

About the thickness, I used plain copy paper and my model turned out great. It didn't become very think and it still holds its shape.
Hope this helps!

Interesting. Never works when I try the Kawasaki Rose. Tried it 5 times in the past 2 years and no luck
