Hi...has anyone folded this model?
I cannot collapse the CP at all

Can anyone take one or two photos of the collapsing and the final base?
The only box-pleated model i've tried was Eric Joisel's dwarf.
should I try more box pleating before attempting this one?

Hi, I have collapsed the same model as you (that dwarf is so cool and easy to collapsed , with the help on this site). Tomorrow I'm going to try this one because my son loves it. If I can collapse it I will take pictures! (As its only my third or forth CP don't hold your breath).

I collapsed it but that's about all! I'll try and post a picture of just what it looks like and how far I am from getting it right.

This model is symmetrical but the cp isn't? Do i have to do the same folds as left side to the right side?

yup, the folds on the left will give you hands. So just fold them on the right side too. The right side is just the basic CP.
