Ideas for an Origami Corsage

I was wondering if anyone here has ever folded an Origami Corsage? I have to fold one for Prom. Also please don't worry about the difficulty of the model, I've been folding origami for quite a while and would love some complex designs that look great.

Thanks in advance!

Why don't you make the Kawasaki rose?I think it'll look great!

I made a corsage once, although I wasn't very happy with how it turned out.
I used a mix of Kawasaki roses (Kevin Hines method), traditional lilies, and Anna Kastlunger's simple flower (I forget its official name). I hot-glued them to a base of origami leaves (from the bloom4ever website), which I attached to a wristlet that I got from my local florist.

My advice is that if you want your corsage to look realistic, you're going to have to use some non-origami elements (like baby's breath, and maybe leaves and ribbon) to fill it out.
M favorite origami flower is just the "old" Kawasaki rose. If you roll up a strip of paper and stick it in the center it looks pretty good. If you're really an advanced folder (I'm not) then try Lang's rose. He and LaFosse also have nice orchids which you can try.

I'm someone who really enjoys folding flowers, especially Kawasaki roses, so I'd say just have fun with the process and if the end result isn't very realistic, it's no big deal.

[Boutonnieres, on the other hand, are fairly easy.]

Here is the one I made. Feel free to model after it.

Wow. I found a model that I want to make now - thanks so much!
One question, the medium and small flowers look like normal angled kawasaki roses, but the big one looks like it's the full bloom variation, did you use different types or are they all the same model?

The big one is full bloom with the loose outer petals and extra flaps, the smallest one is the normal k-rose, and the medium one is one k-rose inside another. Cheers.
