Can someone give me a difficulty comparison between Diaz's Vixen and an another common model. Say Satoshi's chocobo? IS it harder or easier than the chocobo?

i do agree - the vixen is easier to fold. at least there are two different styles of folding in these models.

I tried the vixen ansd strangely found the opposite. The chocobo is easier for me. Maybe it's just because I ama so enthusiastic about final fantasy. So enthusiastic that I now memorized how to make the chocobo after 2 folds f it :P

Vixen has its moments but results in a very satisfying model. I have made several as gifts and non-origami people really like them. The fold over step seems daunting the first time but is moderately easy thereafter. I find Chocobo a little less reliable on repeat folding.

Over the past few days I've folded the chocobo a lot, but I've come to really hate the leg shaping because of it's repetitiveness.

Edit, oooh, my 100th post talking about a chocobo from my favourite video game series :P

I always skip a bunch of steps in the folding of the chocobo. Usually in the legs, I just hate to fold it. I like the finished model but I hate to fold it
oh well

Do you memorize the chocobo and other diagrams? I have always been the best out of my siblings to remember and memorize diagrams in origami. I ahve a photographic memory. :D

I can sometimes memorize models. (such as chocobo) but every once in a while I just re run the diagrams to keep it fresh :D
