rather shockingly, cps for "scaled dragon thingies" are fairly common. can you be more specific?

Aren't there already like 5 topics about this? Use the search button!
If you find the search button impossibly hard then type it into google.
for example if you were looking for ryujin then you would type: Kamiya satoshi ryujin, origami forum.

hope this helps,
Slater

One thing you might try is to create some "scaled" paper, such as described in Lang's Origami Design Secrets, or Won Park's Koi (use Google), then use that paper to fold your favorite dragon...

You are just not going to be able to find a "not that hard" scaled dragon. Satoshi Kamiya, Chad Killeen (Blue Paper), and Shuki Kato all have scaled dragons, but they're not easy. Not by a longshot.

yeah you're not find a dragon that is both scaled and easy to fold. it just doesn't work that way.

heck, you probably won't be able to find much anything that is simple and scaled :B

if you want people to recommend you a good CP, you're going to need to be more specific as to what you're looking for. like what your skill level is or what kind of thing you want to fold.

we don't know your skill level. so its hard to recommend a good CP

you didn't specify what kind of model you wanted to make either (like animal, insect, bird, etc). or did you mean you just wanted a CP for a non-scaled dragon?
