Fishgoth's Silver Dragon

Hello,

I have a few questions about Fishgoth's Silver dragon (link below).
http://www.fishgoth.com/origami/diagrams/cp_dragon.pdf

I have read somewhere that this cp doesn't contain all of the folds necessary to make the dragon, is this true? And just to be curious, has anyone ever folded the silver dragon by fishgoth (aside from fishgoth of course)? If so, help would be appreciated (I'm not sure on how to form the head, I got the legs though....I think).

Ok, first things first, there is already a topic for this, secondly point splitting is used to from the toes, finally the head is essentially a bird base

-sweatdrop- whoops...erm could you give me a link to that topic? I searched but I couldn't find it before...perhaps I overlooked it..

thanks for the info about the head though, it was a great help.

The crease pattern has all the important folds. If you follow the pattern, you'll end up with the dragon, with three horns on the head, and legs ending in points.

If you look at my 'Adding toes' article, it shows you the various methods I use to point split. You can turn the single point in which the leg ends into three (or more) toes.

I considered adding the full CP - however, the toe pattern looked far more complicated than it needed to, and I felt the simplified CP gave all the info needed.

This is not an easy model, and folding the teeth takes an awful lot of care and patience.

Thanks Fishgoth and redheadorigami for your help. I'm going to try to make the dragon, but since the hardest dragon cp I've ever done is Kadechan's Fiery dragon, I'm not expecting stellar results...so the key word is try.
