Question about CPs

Hi, I normally fold origami with friends at school during our free time so we don't really look into big models. Recently I decided that I wanted to try something more complicated myself and tried looking something up on google, where I found out about CPs (yes, I'm out-dated on origami xD) that most people now use instead of step-by-step diagrams, which look very confusing to me since I've never folded something from CPs before.

My question is this: how do you fold a module from a CP without having to print out the actual crease pattern onto the paper? I know the basic answer is "just fold it" but some CPs I've seen are pretty complicated and you don't always know exactly where some of the folds go on the paper.
Sorry if this question was answered before ><

Read the sticky post: viewtopic.php?t=2131 and use the search function next time. Reading the Forum categories would also help. What for do we have a Forum category that's called "Diagrams & Crease Patterns" if you post your question about Crease Patterns in the "General" section? I moved your post to the right section.
