Nicholas Terry - Crazy Frog (CP)

Dear fellow forumers,

How do I collapse these crossing perpendicular lines on Nicholas Terry's Crazy frog CP? It looks like two sets of overlapping pleats or something but this makes no sense in the context of the model.

Here is the link to the crease pattern. I am referring to the crossing lines near the top, along the horizontal area where it says "corner of the mouth."
I have encountered a few similar situations in other models and have been baffled.

Thank you for your help!
Ben

Do you mean his cartoon frog?
If so, the way it's done in the diagrams is that you do the vertical pleats first then the horizontal ones (note that this depends on the model, sometimes it's more obvious though). The mouth is formed by pulling 1 or 2 pleats out, and then mountain folding the edges to lock it.
