CP line identification

I printed this out
Robert Lang - Night Hunter
I was wondering which lines would be mountains and valleys if the paper color was on the outside of the model. Any guesses?

Use single colour paper
I guess, unless someone has folded it, you will have to experiment with it. Maybe I will try, but I have never had much success with CP's.

The easiest way to find out will be to fold it...
After locating the beak, I would assume that the black lines are mountains if the coloured side of the paper lies on the top, but I could be wrong.

I have folded a little of it, and it seems that the black lines should be mountain folds.

in one essay of robert lang on crease pattern he said that: the solid black line is the mountain and the dash line is the valley. I work for several cps and see that the crease was drawn for the back side of the paper (non color), the reason most of us did not notice that is that most of the cp is mirror reflect on a plane (hope that you understand this) so the back and the front look exactly the same

if you work on his crab you probably see the difference, hiba got this one wrong in first several trial because of this misunderstand.

It looks like the black lines are mountain folds & the green lines are valley folds, if the body is white & the top of the wings are colored.

I am looking at the cp for Robert Lang's new
Mt Diablo Tarantula, opus 481
& i see black pink red green blue etc, for the lines. Does anyone know what these mean?
