Make a blintzed bird base, then try this model.
Look at the model. Look at the bird base. Now look at me.
Sadly, Im or the bird base are not the step 2 collapse, but it should help you with it.

just keep working it and pay attention to the mountain valley directions in the diagram. it is a pain in the but but if you do th eprecrease then fold a blintz bird base it will collaps.
