I am trying to fold the steps from 1 to 8, but i don't understand step 9 and 10.

Could someone please give me some hints?

What step 9 tells you to do is open the model and press the center of the paper. This center of the paper was until this step a "mountain" vertex. You have to change it into a valley vertex. Is like opening the model and then wrapping the front flap with some paper that before this step was behind it.

Is similar to when you hide the central part of a bird base.
